Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After selecting item upgrader to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes it an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be used and an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more because it lets players get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
