Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

The upgrading of your item is an essential component to maximizing the potential of your gear. It lets you add additional stats to the base value of your item.

Each upgrade template has an array of options that can be changed by using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the upgrading chance.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading the armor and weapons in Cyberpunk has been reworked. Upgrade components can be found all over Night City, and the item you wish to upgrade must have an upgrade slot available. When you choose an item to upgrade it will show a preview of what the expected statistics will be after upgrading, along with the necessary component or item needed. If you don't have the necessary level of component or resource to upgrade the item, then the button will read "Blocked."

The items that can be upgraded include armor and weapons and trinkets and gathering tools. Upgrade slots can be filled on any item to give attribute bonuses or additional effects when the equipment is utilized.  item upgrading  are available through crafting, purchased from a vendor, or taken as a reward.

There are two types of upgrade components such as gems and universal upgrades. Universal upgrades which are similar to gemstones can be used in any kind of equipment and provide an inferior bonus than other upgrade components. They are easy to acquire by dropping them by enemies and looted all over the world. Gems however are gained by disassembling items or completing certain tasks.

Upgrades can be removed and replaced by new ones within the slot of the weapon. However it will destroy any prior upgrades. Other upgrades, excluding for glyphs that are added to gathering tools cannot be removed from an item once they have been placed. Infusions can be put into legendary or upgraded equipment. Enrichments are only obtainable using a high-end salvaging kit or an upgrade extractor.

Recycled Items

During the last two world wars, shortages of natural resources drove the world to embrace recycling. It is now common to recycle items like aluminum, plastic and paper, giving them new life as something different. Recycling actually saves energy and keeps carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. It's also a great option to avoid landfills and save natural resources. It is important to know what items can be reused.

Many people make the mistake of putting the wrong items in the recycling bin. These items not only harm recycling equipment, but they can also cause contamination to the water. To avoid this, examine the label and adhere to the guidelines for your recycling program. For instance, cardboard should not be mixed with tin or steel cans, and tissue needs to be disposed of in the garbage. Plastic bags can get tangled in recycling machines and should be returned to the supermarket for reuse. Other items that should be thrown in the trash include berry containers and food containers. Glass is the only exception as it is a great material to build with.

It is important to look for the label "Made from recycled content" when shopping for new products. This means that the item contains reclaimed materials from other products that have already served their intended purpose. This makes them an sustainable option than new products made from raw materials. They are also less expensive than new ones.

You can recycle your old computer, tablet, or phone by taking it to a recycling center. They will reuse this material to make new electronics and useful products. You can even get money from some of these companies by returning the old ones.

If you want recycling for your coworkers to be easier, standardize the colors of the bins and signs at your workplace. This will help reduce confusion and increase participation rates. It is also recommended to create the space in your office for recycling for example, a central bin or box that is located in the breakroom.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens offer you another chance at rolling the dice for higher stats or more powerful abilities. These tokens are found in the mystery box, or as rare drops from bosses or monsters with skulls. Each token takes an attribute point from damage and then rolls it into an attribute that is different. You can also roll additional attributes on objects, like regeneration and speed.

The amount of additional items that are added to an item varies with each level. The value of an additional is calculated in percentages of the total stats of the item, and rerolling a token can alter this value. The item's recycling value also increases when it gets upgraded. The value of the item's primary stat increases by a factor of 3 each time it is upgraded, however the value of the additional stats can differ.

Click the dice icon next to the item in your Inventory to reroll it. You can also hit the button on a lobby of another player, and select "Reroll". After you have rerolled the item, it will disappear from your collection.

You can buy rerolls and other items in-game from Sagbe, an in-game Token Shop trader. The redemption of active codes will allow you to get free rerolls in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used to obtain various items that include Reroll Tokens and Clan Reroll Tokens.

Rerolls can be helpful early in the game as you are attempting to build up your inventory. They are not the best method of increasing your character's stats. Instead, you should focus on getting more skill points. You can also get additional bonus points by completing the event tiers.

You can also reroll the race of your character by using a race-reroll token which can be purchased through the Zen Market. This token lets you change your race once and can be used in conjunction with certain pack purchases or through the Token Shop. You can also get it as a reward when you complete Meg's cases in the Port Sarim Invasion event.

Leveling

Upgrading an item in an upgrade process boosts its power and stats. However, it increases the cost of upgrades and requires the use of certain materials to complete the process. The kind of material needed depends on the item. Weapons, for instance utilize a combination of Destruction Stones (DS) and Guardian Stones. Armor is made up of Harmony Leapstones, Shards and other materials. Incorporating additional materials into the process can increase the chance of success, but it is not an absolute guarantee.

The process of leveling is calculated by using an algorithm that determines the amount of damage, magic attack (magic weapons) and defense an upgraded item will receive when it is upgraded to the next level. The formulas are different based on the type of weapon used and rarity. There is also a maximum level per type of gear.

The NPC will show an upgrade option once the item has reached its maximum level. This will allow players to upgrade the item to the next level by infusing it with experience. To maximize the benefits of this process it is crucial to ensure their gear has reached its maximum level before upgrading. This way, they will avoid wasting experience and materials that could have been better spent on other upgrades.

When the upgrade is in process while the upgrade is taking place, the NPC will show a window that has two lines. The first line displays how many Tech Points the upgrade will offer, while the other shows a preview of what the item will look like at its upgraded level. The preview may not be accurate if the item has modifications. However, it could give you an idea of what the item will look like.

The NPC will also display the cost of upgrading the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. If you own an Accelerator, it will also include the cost. Accelerators are available on the Exchange. They boost the Tech Points gained from an upgrade by 50%. This bonus does not apply to an item's quality chance, which resets once the item is at the mark level.

The Upgrade NPC also provides the option of transferring gear. This allows players to save the experience and progress in upgrading an item of gear and transfer it to a different item that is in the same slot. This is useful for players who wish to change their gear, but do not have the currency to buy a new set.
